Terma di Caracalla and a Shopping Thing

So as said have I been at Terma di Caracalla and watched the Opera “Carmen” openair. It was great! I mean the Opera was really good and beautiful, but the atmosphere … was F A N T A S T I C…. Just look at the pics! You have to imagine.. You’re sitting there under the stars in the middle of the Terma di Caracalla, these ancient Roma Termes, watching an Opera, great weather, drinking an amazing cold coffee beverage (it was a mix of coffee ice-cream and coffee), the planes are flying over you and you even see a starlight… I mean .. perfect, right? Having a great friend next to you and you can just sit back and enjoy! Not thinking about tomorrow! It was really a great evening (night – I came home at 2am!).

Well today I’ve been at work as usual and after work I knew that I have to do some grocery shopping. I really try to go just once a week to the supermarket and buy all at once for a whole week… ’cause otherwise I always end up like today! So.. I knew I need some soap thing to do the wash-up, something to drink and some soup. Well you see on the picture below … left = my plan… on the right = reality! I’ve ended up buying a Beer, Bananass, Potatoes, Yogurt, Philadelphia, Mexican Sauce and so on .. even an Adapter did I buy. So I’m really wondering is it just me or is this normal? ‘Cause it’s really typical for me! I hope I’ll learn it once to go and really just to buy what I NEED. During my vacations in Switzerland last have I watched a documentation about shopping habits. And they tested exactly this. A woman and a man had to buy stuff for a dinner. But the experts actually checked if they bought also things which were not used or meant for the dinner. And yap – the woman bought a lot of stuff just because she thought “I could use it tomorrow or whenever”… Well so I feel reassured – I’m totally normal. 🙂 Have a nice evening out there – I’m enjoying my dinner (and I’m not eating anything of the stuff i bought today *g*)
