Recently discovered at Jamie’s Restaurant “fifteen” in London and now one of my favourite summer cocktails: Aperol Spritz. It’s an italian drink that is commonly served in the northern part of Italy. The ingredients and proportions differ vastly from area to area. My favourite:
- ice cubes (approximately 3-4 cubes)
- 6cl Prosecco
- 4cl Aperol
- splash of soda water
- orange slice
- Fill a glass with 3-4 ice cubes. Pour in the Prosecco and then top with Aperol. Add the soda water. Stir gently until mixed.
- Garnish with an orange slice.
