Vegetables with Prawns

So.. my new appartment is getting more and more my home. Bought some beautiful bed stuff at Zara Home, ordered posters at http://www.allposters.com and personalise everything a bit more day by day. Found an other amazing (english) bookshop. Next to Via del Corso, at Via della Vite 102 with a lot of non-fiction, grammar, cook, poetry,…books! Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Bought three books and can’t wait to read em. On Wednesday evening did I cook spontaneously a very easy, healthy and light dinner. Rice would fit perfect to serve with it – but I wasn’t that hungry. Here we go….

Ingredients (serves 2):
  • 4 small zucchinis
  • about 6 fresh champignons
  • soy sauce
  • as many prawns as you like
  • olive oil
  • 1 onion, cutted
  • 1 garlic clove, cutted
  • pepper
  • salt
  • curry
How to do it
  1. Heat olive oil in a pan. Roast gently the onion and garlic.
  2. Add the mushrooms, zucchinis and slake with some soya sauce.
  3. Spice with pepper, salt and if you like curry.
  4. Add the prawns and go on with cooking for some minutes –  as long as the prawns change their color.
  5. Serve with some basmati rice.

  1. Looks delicious!! And I like your kitchen too- cooking is always more enjoyable when it’s in a kitchen you love. Japanese houses are teeny tiny so cooking is always a bit of a mission!

  2. hi Annina! so very happy to see a fellow Swiss girl! I had to do a bit of guessing using my rusty German knowledge, as I don’t speak Swiss German, but I would be thrilled to hear what you think if you try any of my recipes, and thank you kindly for the compliment you left on my blog too!

how is life in Rome? I’ve never been there, shame on me.

(did I mention I’m stoked about “meeting” another expat who happens to be Swiss, too? oh. I did. but I am!)

you can bet I will be back to check out your beautiful blog.
    xo
